My First Movie

Alex went to his first movie last night at the Parkway Speakeasy Theatre. We saw "Priceless" with Audrey Tautou. It was a French romantic comedy which was cute, and had scenery that made you definitely want to visit the South of France! There are a couple of movies theatres here in the East Bay which have "Baby Brigade" nights where babies under the age of one are allowed to attend. The setup is quite cool, with comfortable sofas to sit on, and a full menu of appetizers, pizza, sandwiches and salads, as well as beer and wine to choose from. They deliver the food to your table and you get to enjoy the show with your little one.

Last night's movie had subtitles, so even if babies were crying it wouldn't really affect your experience, because you were reading anyway. Alex was a good boy. He ate and then fell asleep for most of the movie. Fun times! Definitely a cool idea...we'll go again sometime.
