After practicing with paper and no thread, he graduated to fabric and thread...the real deal.  We decided to make a "reading pillow".  Quite appropriate for the bookworm.  He did a great job and loves his new reading pillow!

Learning to Sew

Alex has wanted to learn how to sew for months now.  I told him that during the summertime he could learn.  The week when Jules was in ballet camp, we tackled it.  I thought that starting out "sewing" paper without thread would be a good start.
