Not a great photo (taken with my phone), but this is a black widow which our contractor, Ramon found while working on the garage. We flipped it over and it had the classic black widow red marks. It did not fall into the capture and release program.

Kingsnake
A picture of the kingsnake that lives in our yard. Our contractor found him a couple of weeks ago, while working on the garage. I let him know that he does live around here and actually, kingsnakes are the only snakes which can withstand a rattlesnake bite. They can actually eat rattlesnakes. We let him go, to roam around and eat little rats and mice.
Droid Arm
David bought Julia a cool ballerina hair brush while in Paris. Jules loves the brush, and then she used the packaging as a "droid arm" for herself. Such a little sister to a big brother!
Montara Beach for Mother's Day
Daddy was out of town on Mother's Day, but Grandma Elaine was here to visit, so we took a day trip to Montara Beach over by Half Moon Bay. We stopped at the Princeton Farmer's Market and bought some goodies and then headed over for a few fun hours at the beach. The little sand bluffs on the beach were a major attraction.
